﹡ Champions of the Future Euro Series, Franciacorta, October 1–4, 2025
Menyhért Krózser delivered an outstanding performance at the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Franciacorta, Italy — the official warm-up event for the FIA Karting World Championship – KZ2. The MHH Racing Team driver was 3rd in his Qualifying Practice group, won two Heats, and finished an impressive 6th overall in a record-breaking field of 117 competitors.
“We worked a lot with the CRG factory team and our engine partner Galiffa Kart to make sure we were in top form for the Champions of the Future,” said Menyhért Krózser.

Preparation was crucial, as the KZ2 category represents the highest and most technically demanding level of gearbox karting. With 117 drivers entered, the field was split into four groups for Qualifying Practice.
“I was 3rd in my Qualifying group, even though I got held up on my best lap. But I can’t complain — with so many drivers, it’s hard to get a completely clean run.”
Because of the large field, each driver took part in six Heats. Starting from 3rd and 4th positions based on his Qualifying result, Menya — known for his ability to be extremely fast even on cold tyres — often moved straight to the front in the opening laps.

“My starts were good and I could usually gain positions right away. In the first Heat I tried to overtake the leader, but we made contact and I went off, finishing only 17th. But I bounced back and won both the second and third Heats.”
Not even a technical setback could slow his momentum.
“An engine failure forced me to retire in one of the Heats, but that’s part of motorsport. I didn’t dwell on it — I just focused on the next Heat.”
After the six Heats, drivers were ranked and split into two Super Heats. Krózser’s strong form continued there as well: starting from 8th, he finished 5th, improving his overall ranking. Despite losing valuable points due to the DNF, he secured 8th position on the starting grid for the Final.

“I had a good start in the Final too, but on the second lap someone hit me, and my chassis got bent. Even so, I managed to gain two positions and finished 6th. The level in KZ2 is incredibly high — finishing in the top 10 already feels like a victory. I’m happy with 6th, though I believe it could have been even better.
I’d like to thank CRG for the great kart and Galiffa Kart for the excellent engine. See you next week at the World Championship!”
The FIA Karting World Championship – KZ2 will take place at Franciacorta, Italy, from October 9–12, 2025.
