Menyh\u00e9rt Kr\u00f3zser has ten years of racing experience, but even for him, karting can bring some new. The second round of the WSK Super Master Series was held in Cremona, on a track where he had never raced before, and the top of all it was raining. What can a driver do in these circumstances? “Wow, it was a very tough weekend, but I enjoyed every single minute of it,” says Menyh\u00e9rt Kr\u00f3zser. “The track has a very tricky layout: it flows from one corner to the next. It’s hard to find the racing line and even harder to overtake. On top of that, grip is not consistent. It can change corner to corner.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The free practice was on a dry track, but then it rained for three days. Sometimes it broke, sometimes it stopped a bit. We ran in standing water, on a wet track and on a drying track. There were no two heats where the grip was the same.<\/p>\n

We knew I wasn’t going to be the strongest on this new track and I’m not happy with the result, but I learned a lot this weekend. In KZ2 I have not raced much in the rain and some of my opponents have four to eight years of experience. Their experience is hard to match.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the second heat I got knocked out and I lost a couple of places for the semi-final, but that wasn’t the reason for the result.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Next week the Super Master Series continues in Franciacorta, where I finished second in the German championship last year. We’re not even going home, we’re staying in Italy, I want to do some training to get in the best form possible.\u201c<\/p>\n
