After a four-month winter break, Menyh\u00e9rt Kr\u00f3zser returned to competition at the WSK Super Master Series round in Franciacorta. However, the MHH Racing Team driver didn\u2019t sit idle during the off-season\u2014his schedule was packed with physical training, testing, and getting to know his new team, CRG.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a long break, but I trained a lot, and fortunately, I\u2019ve been karting for months now,\u201d said Menya, who will compete in FIA karting events this season, including Champions of the Future, the European Championship, and the World Championship, in the premier KZ2 category.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy preparation went well\u2014I run and train a lot. Driving a KZ2 kart requires serious physical strength and endurance. I had no issues with that last year, but I\u2019ve stepped it up even further this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Kr\u00f3zser remains in the same category as last year, his technical support team has changed. In 2025, he will race under the banner of the prestigious Italian CRG team, using the WSK round primarily for testing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been working together with the team since January, and during testing, we managed to build a strong connection. We\u2019ve made significant improvements to the chassis, and we went to Franciacorta specifically to continue that development. This was CRG\u2019s first race of the season and also our first opportunity to test the chassis on a fully rubbered track.\u201d<\/p>\n

The KZ2 field was already incredibly strong last year, but it has become even more competitive in 2025. A total of 88 drivers entered the category at Franciacorta\u2014equivalent to four and a half Formula 1 grids\u2014meaning that wherever you looked, there was a world champion on track.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe level of competition was incredible, as always. That\u2019s what I love most about KZ2\u2014all the best kart drivers in the world race here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Qualifying was extremely tight, with ten drivers within one-tenth of a second. Our pace wasn\u2019t the strongest at this stage\u2014I finished 18th in my group and 55th overall.<\/p>\n

Throughout the heats, we continued refining the chassis. My starts and opening laps were strong, as usual, and I was able to gain positions in every heat. After the prefinal, I was up to 34th, and in the final, I gained another nine places to finish 25th.<\/p>\n

Looking at our progress, I can be satisfied with the result, but we need better pace in qualifying. We are planning several development tests with the team before the first Champions of the Future event because both they and I are aiming for strong results this year.<\/p>\n

So far, we\u2019re heading in the right direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
